USP Verified

USP Verified is a certification program indicating that a product has been independently tested to meet USP standards for identity, strength, purity, and performance.

TestingUSPCertification

USP Verified is the applied version of USP standards.

While USP defines what quality should look like, USP Verified indicates that a specific product has been tested against those criteria and meets them.

This distinction is structural.

A standard describes expectations.
A verification confirms that a product aligns with them.

At a high level, USP Verified centers on four signals:

  • Identity — whether the ingredient is correctly identified
  • Strength — whether the labeled amount is accurate
  • Purity — whether contaminants are within defined limits
  • Performance — whether the product dissolves or releases as intended

USP Verified introduces product-level confirmation.
It does not redefine what “quality” means.

A verified product meets established criteria.
It does not imply that those criteria are sufficient for a specific outcome.

Verification confirms correctness.
It does not determine relevance.
